"Phantasmal Delite" was my first focused effort into audio surreality, combined with some brief songs and some silly sketches. About two years earlier we recorded two brief "adventures" featuring a guy who fell into a well, and that started the creative juices flowing.

The three "Phantasmal Delite" episodes were recorded within a relatively brief span of time (about three weeks), while at the same time I was also writing and recording actual songs. These do feature a few brief tunes (including a duet with my sister Suzy in Part Three) but in general these PD tracks were more focused on sketches.

I was going through a brief "Firesign Theatre" phase, and around this time I was first exposed to the Beatles' Christmas Album. Although my attemts at surreality pale in comparison, these tracks were recorded on the spot with minimal rehersal or refinement. I wrote a lot of material in a short span of time, always figuring I would go back someday and record them again with more precision.

Well, here it is more than twelve years later and I have not yet returned to these old psychocosmic adventures... so until I elaborate on them further, I present these here for you to enjoy.
