Welcome to Volume 2 of The Early Years! This collection features one of our longest songs, "The Title Track." When I was young, I thought it was neat when radio DJs announced a song as the title track from somebody's latest album. That got me thinking about writing a title track for my own album someday - and thus was born this title track!

Our title track is an interwoven audio tapestry of melodies, emotions, sounds, and even a few sights! We recorded this during the summer of 1989, and during those sessions we captured a significant amount of material. As was typical of our creative style, we recorded our songs after only one or two rehersals - we wanted to capture the fresh spark of a new song before it became stale.

For this release I cleaned up the original master mix-down recording as best I could, enhancing the twelve-year-old audio equalization. Also for your online listening convenience, I spliced out three of the major musical themes into their own downloadable tracks (Anthem, Freedom, and Voyage).
